Authentic birth photos

A man with glasses looking down at a newborn baby in a hospital bassinet.

I started brejaz photos because I wish I had better photos for my own 3 children’s births.

A woman kisses a newborn baby on the head, holding the baby close to her face.

Birth is the most empowering, beautiful, breathtaking, magical,  connected, emotional & rewarding time.

Your birth story is unique and amazing — so why shouldn’t your photos be?

Meet Bre

(that’s me)

Photographer. Storyteller. Quiet observer with a sharp eye for chaos and beauty.

Mom of 3 amazing humans, all with unique birth stories of their own.

Dog mom to 2, cat mom to 2. Fish mom to many.

I love photography and all things birth related. Nursing questions? I’m your girl. Cheerleader extraordinaire? Also me.

I grew up in central Minnesota, went to college at UofM (Go Gophers!) but you probably don’t care about those details lol

What you can expect from me

We’ll chat, get aligned on everything you want, and I’ll meet with you and plan the perfect way to document your day. I’m everywhere and nowhere — catching everything without being in your face.

Consider me a fly on the wall (unless of course you want to talk all things birth, because obviously that’s my jam.) You’ll get sneak peeks fast (perfect for your announcement!) , and your full gallery ready 2 weeks after.

A mix of cinematic moments + documentary truth

What I’m here for

I’m here to document these memories. I’ve been through it, and the little details are easily forgotten.

Helping you feel completely supported and empowered on the most important day of your life.

Documenting every moment. The beauty and strength in your labor, the unexplainable moments of birth, and the euphoric hours afterwards.

Photos that tell the real, raw story. The moments that you’ll want to remember forever. The moments you’ll show your kids, with tears in your eyes, and they’ll make fun of you for being so sentimental.

Your story deserves to be documented.

I only book 2 births a month, lets hold your spot
